Although my written piece didn’t make the cut for issue 5 of the IMI Eye, a picture I took was used for an article. My image on page 8.

Finance department's daily meetingI did also submit a story about IMI Truflo Marine’s latest success involving a knowledge transfer partnership with The University of Birmingham, but unfortunately it didn’t make it into the magazine. That news story was also on Truflo’s website but I can’t share that as the website has now been shut down and re-directed to IMI Critical’s website.

IMI Eye Magazine Issue 4 Feature



I was really happy that my contribution ended up in the IMI Eye, IMI plc’s worldwide news magazine. There is a printed copy as well as a digital version which is seen and read by employees from all IMI divisions (Critical, Precision and Hydronic).

Theodore Bigby Featured in IMI Eye Magazine

This particular entry (linked to above) is from the 4th Issue on 4th February 2016 and was featured on the inside cover as a highlight. The story is about the Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyer HMS Dragon. It was also featured on IMI Critical’s website and you can read that version here.

Japanese lessonI recently completed a set of Japanese lessons which I organised in Birmingham on behalf of JETAAUK/ JETAAMidlands.

IMI Truflo Marine Canteen Wallpaper Project



I was asked to design a display in the canteen for my company IMI Truflo Marine and successfully coordinated the project from start to finish.

The primary reason for the project was to improve the atmosphere of the staff canteen and boost staff morale. IMI Truflo Marine had previously absorbed IMI Components just over a year previous to the project and the image needed to represent both parts of the organisation.

Theodore Gains Professional Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing



Theodore Bigby is proud to announce that he has today gained an Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) Professional Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing.

After beginning the course in November 2014 with the first of two intensive three day sessions in Teddington, home of the IDM, Theodore studied for his qualification during evenings and weekends, completing two pieces of coursework over the winter and two examinations during the summer to prove his knowledge of marketing.
